We provide you with a service, that if you have a claim or a dispute with the builder and comes under the home warranty insurance, we can assist you to resolve the matter to avoid conflict.

Did you know that after the Occupancy Certificate has been issued, that you have a free 2 year defect period which allows you, the property owner, to have all your defects carried out by your builder under the Home Building Regulations 2004 and the Home Building Act 1989, at no cost to you. Make sure you lodge a claim to report any issues before the 2 years expires.

MBA Building Inspections can provide an independent inspection and report and rectification order which contains a list of defects that need to be addressed by your builder under your Home Warranty Insurance in Victoria and New South Wales.

There is also a 6 year structural defect period. This includes new homes, renovations, alterations and additions.
Make sure you lodge a claim to report any issues before the 6 years expires.
